Lincoln Kienholz is a quarterback for the Ohio State Buckeyes and will be a sophomore for the 2024 season. He hails from Pierre, South Dakota, and attended T.F. Riggs High School. By the end of his high school career, 247Sports ranked him as the No. 13 quarterback in the nation and No. 172 overall player in Ohio. Kienholz joined Ohio State in 2023 and earned the OSU Scholar-Athlete status for his remarkable season. The 2024 season will be his second regular season for the Buckeyes, he commenced his collegiate career in 2021 in the Goodyear Cotton Bowl against Missouri and made 42 snaps. He threw six passes out of 17 attempts against the Tigers and gained 86 yards. As per his official Ohio State Buckeyes profile, he is pursuing a degree in real estate and urban analysis and remains in contention for the starting quarterback spot.

Lincoln Kienholz’s high school career at T.F. Riggs was noteworthy, as a senior he completed 66 percent of his passes for 3,422 yards and 46 touchdowns. He also rushed for 1,435 yards for 24 touchdowns. He led the team to three consecutive state championships and became South Dakota's high school passer of all-time with 9,100 passing yards. Kienholz received three consecutive Most Valuable Player of the 11AA state championships. In his final state championship game, he registered 274 yards for three touchdowns and rushed 121 yards for two additional touchdowns.
