Ben Wooldridge has started all seven games for the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns. Wooldridge is the team's starting quarterback, and he's been one of the primary reasons for their 6-1 start to the season.

The Pleasanton-born shotcaller has amassed a stat line of 1,785 passing yards, 15 touchdowns, and four interceptions. Wooldridge was at his best in his side's last victory, amassing a stat line of 373 passing yards, three touchdowns, and zero interceptions versus the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers. He even added a rushing touchdown for good measure.

Ben Wooldridge spent the first two years of his collegiate football career with Fresno State. However, after it became clear that he wasn't breaking into the starting lineup, Wooldridge entered the transfer portal. He joined the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns ahead of the 2021 season, and like they say, the rest is history.

Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns' QB depth chart

Ben Wooldridge is one of many talented quarterbacks on the Ragin' Cajuns roster. The team has two other skilled quarterbacks on its active roster depth chart: Chandler Fields and Daniel Beale.

Chandler Fields is the Ragin' Cajuns' incumbent backup quarterback. He attended Archbishop Rummel High School, where he graduated as a three-star prospect. He earned offers from different institutions and eventually chose the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns' offer.

Fields started out as a backup for the program before he earned his chance to be the starter in the 2022 season. He performed admirably before losing his spot to Ben Wooldridge because of injury. Daniel Beale is the third and youngest member of the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns quarterback depth chart. Beale was ranked as a three-star prospect in high school and won three state championships for Catholic High School. He's currently in his first year as a collegiate football quarterback and is valued highly by the Louisiana staff.
