Brian Kelly is set for his third season as the coach of the LSU Tigers. He has led the Tigers to a 10-4 record and a 10-3 record, but LSU has yet to win the SEC Championship or make the playoffs.
However, Kelly has done well with high school recruiting, as he landed some key players in 2024.

#3 Tylen Singleton, LB
Singleton is the third-best player LSU landed in 2024 out of high school. The linebacker was a four-star recruit out of Many, Louisiana, and is the 12th-ranked linebacker in the class of 2024, while being the 167-ranked player overall.
He enrolled at LSU in January and has offers from Texas A&M, Arkansas, Ole Miss, FSU, Notre Dame, Tennessee and USC, among others.
#2 Coen Echols, OL
Brian Kelly and LSU landed four-star offensive lineman Coen Echols out of Katy, Texas.
Echols was the 154th-ranked player in the country and the fifth-ranked interior offensive lineman. In high school, he played center and can play tackle as well. He has already enrolled at LSU, in January.
During his recruiting, Echols originally committed to Texas A&M but decommitted and landed at LSU in December 2023. Echols had offers from Utah, Oregon, Georgia Tech, Kansas, Maryland, Nebraska and Texas Tech, among others.
#1 Dashawn McBryde, S
The top player Brian Kelly landed in the 2024 recruiting was safety Dashawn McBryde out of Denham Springs, Louisiana.
McBryde was a four-star recruit and the 54th-ranked player overall as well as the second-ranked safety in the class of 2024. He has already enrolled at LSU and as a junior in high school, he recorded a school-record 10 interceptions and nine INTs as a senior, including three being TDs.
During his recruiting, McBryde had offers from the likes of Florida, Mississippi State, Tennessee, Ole Miss and Houston, among others.
