The 16th-ranked LSU Tigers (2-1) will take on the UCLA Bruins (1-1) at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday in a week 4 matchup. LSU is coming off its second win in a row, a 36-33 victory over South Carolina. UCLA is coming off a 42-13 loss to Indiana, its first of the season. LSU is a big favorite for this game, but the team is dealing with several injuries ahead of this Week 4 matchup.
LSU injury report - Week 4
LSU has several players on its injury report ahead of its Week 4 matchup against the UCLA Bruins.
Chris Hilton
Wide receiver Chris Hilton has missed the first three games of the season with a bone bruise on his ankle. However, it looks like he will make his first appearance of the season this week. Head coach Brian Kelly told reporters:
"We're going to get him on the field. But this is going to be like getting a toe in the water."
So, while Hilton will appear in this week's game against UCLA, he likely will not get much playing time. The coaching staff will limit his minutes to reduce the risk of him reaggravating his injury.
Jalen Lee
Coach Kelly also mentioned defensive tackle Jalen Lee during his most recent media availability. He told reporters that Lee was ruled out for this week's game with a shoulder injury. Lee has not yet been able to appear in a game this season for the Tigers.
Da'Shawn Womack
Defensive end Da'Shawn Womack is listed as questionable for this week's game against UCLA. He is recovering from an undisclosed injury he suffered in Week 2 against Nicholls. The injury kept him out of last week's game against South Carolina. He has two tackles in two games, both of which were assists.
Princeton Malbrue
Defensive end Princeton Malbrue has an undisclosed injury that has him listed as questionable for this week's game. The injury was suffered in week 1 against USC and has kept him out of the last two games. The coaching staff has not publically commented about the status of his injury or when he will return. Malbrue appeared in 13 games for the Tigers last season.
Jacobian Guillory
Defensive tackle Jacobian Guillory is out for the season with an Achilles injury. After missing the first game of the season with an injury, Guillory returned in week 2 where he was injured again.
