The Minnesota Golden Gophers quarterback Max Brosmer has recently transferred from New Hampshire to play his final year of eligibility. Brosmer started his high school football career at Centennial High School where he was recognised as the Centennial Player of the Year. Brosmer grew up in Canada before moving to Georgia for the last 10 years. Coming out of Centennial as a three-star prospect, Brosmer did not have many offers from Division 1 schools other than New Hampshire which he accepted. Brosmer concluded his prep career with 7,252 passing yards and 61 touchdowns while totalling 789 yards and seven scores.

In his true freshman year with the Wildcats, Brosmer saw action in all 11 games, passing for 1,967 yards with 12 touchdowns and 12 receptions. In 2021, he missed out the entire season with a torn ACL and redshirted the year. Brosmer returned in the 2022 season where he was the starting quarterback in all 13 games. He threw for 3,157 yards and totalled 27 passing touchdowns. The following year as a captain in 2023, Brosmer started in all 11 games and was ranked second in the nation in both passing yards (3464) and touchdowns (29). In his five-year UNH career, Brosmer threw for 8,467 yards and 68 touchdowns. At the end of 2023, Brosmer announced he would transfer to the Minnesota Golden Gophers for his final season of college football.
