Max Brosmer is an American college football player who has most recently transferred to Minnesota to play his final season of eligibility. Brosmer started his football career at Centennial High School where he threw for 3,459 yards and 31 touchdown passes as a senior. During his prep career, Brosmer passed for 7,252 yards and 61 touchdowns. He was also the recipient of the Centennial Excalibur Award and the regional Offensive Player of the Year for his outstanding contribution to the team. The four-star quarterback from Roswell did not receive many offers coming out of high school and signed with New Hampshire to begin his collegiate football career.
In his freshman season in 2019, Brosmer saw action in all 11 games while passing for 1,967 yards, 12 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions. The following year as a sophomore, Brosmer played only one game as the season was postponed to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, Brosmer tore his ACL and redshirted the season. His breakthrough campaign was in 2022 when he ranked the No.9 quarterback in the nation in both passing yards (3,157) and touchdowns (27). Last season, Brosmer was one of the most prolific quarterbacks at the FCS level as he passed for 3,464 yards and 29 touchdowns. After five seasons with the Wildcats, Brosmer transferred to Minnesota Golden Gophers where is expected to lead a starting role in the 2024 season.
