Miami Hurricanes is a collegiate program representing the University of Miami. They compete in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). Founded in 1926, the program won five national championships and drafted many players to the National Football League teams. Besides the five National Championships, the Miami Hurricanes football team has won nine conference championships and has appeared in 42 Bowl Games. Apart from football, their baseball team has achieved four national championships. The mascot of the Hurricanes is named ‘Sebastian the Ibis,’ and their school colors are orange, green, and white. The Hard Rock Stadium was originally known as Joe Robbie Stadium. The Stadium was built for the Miami Dolphins and was inaugurated in 1987. The Hurricanes began their college journey with this stadium in 2008. The Miami Hurricanes played at the Miami Orange Bowl until 2007. Over the years, the Hard Rock Stadium has undergone several renovations, most recently in 2015, when they increased the seating capacity.
