The Miami Hurricanes' 2024 campaign ended on a sour note after the team missed the 12-team College Football Playoff with a 10-2 record in the regular season. A 42-38 Week 14 upset loss to Syracuse cost the Hurricanes a spot in the ACC Championship and the playoff.

December is one of the biggest months of the portal period, with some of the biggest names in college football set to transfer to new schools in 2025.
