The Miami (OH) RedHawks are on the road to face the Ball State Cardinals on Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET. The game can be seen on ESPN.

Miami (OH) (4-4, 3-1 Mid-American Conference) is coming off a 46-7 win over Central Michigan in Week 9 as they had an open week last week. Ball State (3-5, 2-2) is also coming off an open week and defeated Northern Illinois 25-23 in Week 9.

Miami (OH) is a 12-point favorite while the over/under is set at 49.5 points.

The RedHawks are on a three-game winning streak. Against Central Michigan, they trailed 7-3 after the first quarter but outscored the Chippewas 43-0 in the final three quarters.

Miami (OH) was led by Keyon Mozee who rushed for 120 yards on 15 carries. Javon Tracy had 118 receiving yards on five receptions and a touchdown, while the defense recorded an interception.

“You better keep winning if you want to have any chance [at a conference championship],” RedHawks coach Chuck Martin said on Oct. 26, via Journal-News. “I really want it for these guys, all these guys that came back. Brett comes back, and [Salopek] comes back along with a lot of other guys. I’d love to see them run the table and get our shot at this thing, man, that would be awesome.”

This season, Miami is led by Brett Gabbert who has thrown for 1,727 yards, 13 TDs, and seven interceptions. Mozee has rushed for 545 yards and two TDs, while Caden McDonald has caught 38 passes for 507 yards and two TDs.

Defensively, Brian Ugwu has four sacks and Matt Salopek has 71 tackles.

On the other hand, Ball State had a four-game losing streak but has gone 2-1 in their last three games, including the win against Northern Illinois.

“When you’re having a trophy game, it just adds to it that much more,” Ball State coach Mike Neu said on Oct. 26, via BallStateDaily. “We knew it was going to be a dogfight. We knew that this team had a lot of experience. Our goal was to make sure we were the most physical team on the field.”

For the season, the Cardinals are led by Kadin Semonza who has thrown for 1,749 yards, 15 TDs, and seven interceptions. Braedon Sloan has rushed for 502 yards and four TDs, while Tanner Koziol has 580 receiving yards and six TDs.

Ball State has struggled defensively and Miami (OH) has a strong offense. The RedHawks should be able to carve the Cardinals' defense as they are arguably the top team in the MAC this season.
