Michigan State vs. Minnesota
College Football: Michigan State vs. Minnesota

Following the shutout loss to in-state rival Michigan last week, Michigan State will make a trip to Minneapolis to play Minnesota in Week 9. Since the suspension of Mel Tucker after Week 2 which eventually led to his dismissal as head coach, the Spartans are yet to record a win.

Interim coach Harlon Barnett will hope this changes in a series they've dominated over the years. Minnesota, however, has a better standing this season, having won four of its seven games. The Golden Gophers recorded a win in this series in 2022 and are in a good position to repeat that this year.
