The Michigan Wolverines travel to play the Indiana Hoosiers on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET. The game can be seen on CBS.

Michigan (5-4, 3-3 Big Ten) is coming off a 38–17 home loss to Oregon. Meanwhile, Indiana (9-0, 6-0) is coming off a 47–10 win over Michigan State and is ranked eighth in the college football playoff rankings.

Michigan vs Indiana: Preview

Michigan is a 14.5-point underdog on the road against Indiana. The over/under is set at 49.5 points.

The Wolverines have not played well this season as the offense has been an issue. Michigan has been struggling at quarterback as Davis Warren will start again who has thrown for 731 yards, five touchdowns and six interceptions.

Kalel Mullings leads the team with 710 yards and seven touchdowns, and Colston Loveland leads the way with 523 yards and four touchdowns.

Defensively, Michigan is led by Will Johnson who has two interceptions. Josaiah Stewart has 6.5 sacks and Ernest Hausmann leads the team with 66 tackles.

Indiana, meanwhile, has been a surprise team this season. The Hoosiers haven't played anyone of note, but Indiana is blowing teams out.

However, despite Indiana being a heavy favorite, coach Curt Cignetti believes this game could be tough.

"Really tough opponent. Obviously won the national championship last season. Wasn't much of a game between the two teams last year. And a lot of good players, really stout defense, really good special teams," Cignetti said, via SI.
"They run the ball well. Good tight end, running backs. Offensive line functions well. Settled in on a quarterback. He can spin it. And the receivers are more than capable. So we'll have to have a great week of preparation and play our best to have a shot."

The Hoosiers are led by Kurtis Rourke who's thrown for 2,204 yards, 19 touchdowns and three interceptions. Justice Ellison has rushed for 669 yards and nine touchdowns, while Elijah Sarratt leads the team with 649 yards and five touchdowns.

Cignetti believes the key to the game will be Indiana's offensive line vs Michigan's defensive line.

"It all starts up front with them," Cignetti said. "They're good inside and good on the edge. And they're an aggressive defense. We'll have a good plan to be balanced on offense and protect the quarterback and free guys up in the pass game and hopefully good in critical situations, and then we've got to go out and execute it."

Defensively, Amare Ferrell leads the team with four interceptions, Mikail Kamara has 9.5 sacks and Aiden Fisher leads the way with 84 tackles.

Although the Hoosiers haven't played anyone of note, Michigan's offense has been struggling and its defense hasn't been that good either. Indiana should be able to score plenty here while the Wolverines' offense will continue to struggle to move the ball.

Prediction: Indiana 34, Michigan 17
