Mike Norvell is the head coach for the Florida State Seminoles football team. Norvell began his coaching career as a graduate student for Central Arkansas in 2006 and Tulsa in 2007. At Tulsa, he was promoted to the Passing Game Coordinator and was also the Wide Receivers Coach in 2009. In 2010, Norvell became the Director of Recruiting players for Tulsa. At Arizona State University, Norvell was the wide receivers coach from 2012-2015. Norvell had a breakthrough in his coaching career when he became the Head Coach for the Memphis Tigers in 2016 and led the team to the three AAC West Division Championships in 2017, 2018, and 2019. In 2019, Norvell also guided the Tigers to the ACC Championship. He has been the Head Coach for the Florida State Seminoles since December 2019.
