Miles Scott, born on March 28, 2022, is an American college football player who has been plying his trade with the Illinois Fighting Illini for the last three seasons. Scott started his football career at St. Thomas More High School where he was included in the CCL All-Conference and also competed in track. Scott was ranked the No.10 overall player in the state of Illinois and was also rated a three-star prospect by 247Sports. The 5-11, 210-pound wide receiver from Dolton embarked on his collegiate football journey with Illinois Fighting Illini despite receiving offers from top programs like the Army, Columbia, Nebraska, and Yale.

In his freshman season, Scott saw action in only four games with one start and redshirted the season. The following year as a redshirt freshman, Scott saw an uptick in playing time as he appeared in all 13 games while tallying four receptions for 29 yards. His breakthrough campaign was in 2023 when he switched from wide receiver to defensive back before the start of the regular season. Scott recorded 63 total tackles, two interceptions, and five passes defended in 12 games for the Fighting Illini. Scott finished second on the team with 63 tackles and will be one of the unquestioned leaders of the secondary in the 2024 season.
