One of the more interesting quarterback prospects in the 2025 NFL draft is Jalen Milroe. He has had a down year this season statistically in his second year as the starting quarterback for the Alabama Crimson Tide but he is ready to make the jump to the pros.

It was announced on Friday afternoon that Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe will play in the Senior Bowl on Feb. 1. ESPN's Field Yates tweeted that Milroe is one of the more intriguing players in the 2025 NFL draft as he has great intangible traits and areas that need to be worked on in his game.

"Jalen Milroe will be on the short list for most fascinating players in the 2025 NFL Draft. He has a lot of unique’ uncoachable traits - and he has a lot of areas where he needs to improve to succeed in the NFL. Both things can be true. The is a great platform to showcase his skillset," Yates tweeted on Friday.

On the season, he finished completing 205-of-319 (64.3%) of his passes for 2,844 yards with 16 passing touchdowns to 11 interceptions while also having 168 rushing attempts for 726 yards (4.3 yards per carry) and 20 rushing touchdowns.

What round will Jalen Milroe be selected in the 2025 NFL draft?

Jalen Milroe will be an interesting prospect as he has a lot of tools to be successful but has not been able to put it all together yet. He has proven to be able to play in a modern NFL as he is not afraid to use his legs to pick up some extra yardage, evident by his program-best 20 rushing touchdowns this season.

While Milroe has shown the ability to go and make plays with his arm, there are still some strides that need to be made by him to be more accurate with his passes. It is expected that he is going to fall out of the first round and land as a second-round quarterback in the 2025 NFL draft.

Teams are always looking to get their franchise guy under center and there are a lot of NFL teams trying to find the answer at quarterback. He is not in the same category as quarterbacks such as Colorado's Shedeur Sanders or Miami's Cam Ward, but he has proven to do enough to at least compete in training camp for a starting quarterback position.

This draft does not have the massive names under center right now and Jalen Milroe may be the third quarterback taken in the draft.
