Nick Saban is easily one of the greatest coaches the game of college football has ever seen. Under him, Alabama won nine SEC titles, six national championships and a plethora of other achievements.
The $80 million worth Saban (according to celebrity net worth) is known to be one of the most passionate and disciplined coaches. But even he likes to get away from the fast-paced coaching life once in a while, which is why he bought the famous Lake house in Northern Georgia.
The property is spread over 10,000 acres and has various selling points like a wine cellar, boathouse and various other intriguing features.
In 2018, Saban talked about why that property is special to him and his family in an interview with former Gators star Tim Tebow and Marty Smith:
"One thing about it is is, you know, when you move around a lot in the coaching profession, family memories are really important to your children.
"And the one thing they always say is, never sell the lake house. Never sell the lake house. And if they tell everybody out there that, you know, we're all so worried about getting ahead and how many games are going to win and all that."
He added:
"But when you get my age, and at this station, you know, you look back and you say, I wish we spent a little bit more time doing that, and why didn't we film that? Because now you know, how can we capture that? Because you can't relive it."
