The New Mexico State Aggies will be on the road to play the Texas A&M Aggies on Saturday, November 16 at 7:45 p.m. ET. The game can be watched on the SEC Network.

New Mexico State (2-7, 1-5 CUSA) is coming off a 41-28 loss to Western Kentucky. Texas A&M (7-2, 5-1 SEC) is coming off its bye week and before that lost to South Carolina 44-20.

New Mexico State vs Texas A&M: Preview

New Mexico State is a 39-point underdog on the road, while the over/under is set at 54 points.

The NM State Aggies enter Kyle Field as a massive underdog along with a two-game losing streak. They are led by Seth McGowan, who has rushed for 636 yards and three touchdowns. TJ Pride has 238 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Defensively, Josiah Cox has two interceptions, Kale Edwards has four sacks and Tyler Martinez has 69 tackles.

No. 15 Texas A&M, meanwhile, was blown out by South Carolina and after the loss, coach Mike Elko said the team can't play like that again.

"We had four turnovers, couldn't run the ball, couldn't tackle, couldn't control the quarterback, we didn't do any of the things you need to do to win a football game, and so we lost," Elko said, via SI. "We've got to get better, we've got to fix these things, and we have to never ever play like that again."

Despite the loss, the Aggies still have a path to play in the SEC Championship game and make the playoffs.

Texas A&M is led by Marcel Reed, who has thrown for 861 yards, seven touchdowns and one interception. Le'Veon Moss has rushed for 765 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Defensively, Marcus Ratcliffe has three interceptions, Nic Scourton has five sacks, and Taylor York has 27 tackles.

Although Texas A&M is a massive favorite, Elko isn't taking them lightly. He says the Aggies need to practice well and play hard to get the win.

"I do not know that I want to go on record saying they are a smaller school," Elko said, via SI. "They went into Auburn last year and beat Auburn in Jordan-Hare (Stadium). I think these games make a lot of sense for a lot of reasons.
"Having been at some of those schools, it is an opportunity to take their kids onto a really big stage. I am sure they are going to be extremely excited about the opportunity to play in Kyle Field in front of 100,000 people.
"The majority of kids who are in the Group of Four level have a chip on their shoulder. That is why I think you see elevated play in these games because they play with something to prove. We expect to have our hands full Saturday for sure."

Texas A&M is likely to dominate New Mexico State here.

Prediction: Texas A&M 51, New Mexico State 10
