Five-star QB Julian Lewis announced his decision to de-commit from Lincoln Riley's USC Trojans on Sunday. He has been committed to them since August last year. However, the Trojans have been struggling this year during their debut Big Ten campaign which must have been a factor in Lewis' decision to de-commit from the program.
However, Julian Lewis has already made up his mind about which team he wants to play for in college. On Thursday, the five-star QB prospect from Georgia announced that he has committed to play for Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes.
"I'm excited for the opportunity to get to work and compete," Lewis told ESPN. "Colorado wasn't recruiting me until I reclassed, so it really was perfect timing. This is only the beginning. I trust Coach Prime and (Pat) Shurmur to help me become the player I want to be."
After Lewis decided to commit to the Colorado Buffaloes, fans took to social media to share memes about USC losing their five-star QB prospect and Deion Sanders adding another future star to his arsenal. Here are the top 10 memes that have taken the internet by storm.
The Colorado Buffaloes are enjoying quite the success this season

The Buffs will begin a new era under Julian Lewis
Julian Lewis' decision to commit to the Colorado Buffaloes couldn't have come at a better time. This is the last season for Coach Prime's QB son Shedeur Sanders before he declares for the NFL draft next year.
With Shedeur beginning his professional journey, Deion Sanders will seemingly not have to worry about finding his replacement next year. Julian Lewis will be expected to be the starting quarterback of the program.
Julian Lewis says he will miss playing in high school
The Colorado commit has been impressive this season with the Carrolton Trojans. He has led them to an unbeaten 11-0 record while tallying 2,842 yards and 40 touchdowns passing.
During an interview with the Atlanta-Journal Constitution, the five-star prospect opened up about how despite being excited about his college career, he will miss playing football in high school.
"Locker rooms after the game, locker rooms after Thursday morning practices. There's a lot to miss about being around the boys," Lewis said. "But we all have to move on. Of course, I am going to come back here and see the younger guys that I might have moved away from in the 2026 class."
Lewis has a lot of expectations riding on his shoulders. It will be interesting to see if he can help the Buffaloes to success just like how Shedeur Sanders did this season.
