The Pac-12 Conference has seen a massive difference after seeing 10 of 12 teams from last year's conference teams switch to other conferences. The only teams staying with the Pac-12 Conference are the Oregon State Beavers and the Washington State Beavers.
The Pac-12 teams have been involved in significant conference realignment heading into the 2024 college football season. The Big Ten, Big 12 and ACC are all going to see multiple teams joining their respective power five conferences. Below is the breakdown of each conference's additions from the Pac-12.

What does the Pac-12 Conference do next?
The Pac-12 Conference are in a difficult position as they attempt to improve their status after losing 10 of 12 programs. The conference fired commissioner George Kliavkoff and replaced him with Teresa Gould. The Conference of Champions need to figure out some key issues to keep the conference alive.
The first part of the conference revival would be accumulating members for the conference. There are some different situations that could happen, as they could attract different members of both Power Five and Group of Five conferences to join them. If they don't do that, they could form a partnership with a Group of Five conference to elevate them to Power Five status.
This season, the Oregon State Beavers and the Washington State Huskies have a media rights deal with The CW Network so that there are some media rights holders that are going to be interested.
If they were to merge with another conference, they could have a media deal mixed in and do something to incorporate the conference's name with the Pac-12. However, with the names of conferences, they don't mean much after conference realignment has happened.
The health of the Pac-12 Conference is not well, but with the right leadership could be a revived Power Five competing for relevancy with the ACC.
