Entering the Sooners first year in the SEC, coach Brent Venables is eager for the challenge.
"My job is to figure out the league, not for the league to figure me out, that's for sure," Venables said (via 247 Sports).
"That's the challenge of it. Been trying to do research and your homework and all those kinds of things, but it's an exciting time. It's an opportunity to learn and grow and get better. Again, it's been kind of the gold standard, if you will, in college football for some time now."
In the Sooners' first game of the 2024 year against Temple, Oklahoma is a -40.5-point favorite.
