2025 recruiting class QB Deuce Knight has committed to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish since September 2023. The 6-foot-5, 205 lbs young player recently had his official visit to South Bend from June 14-16, giving him the time to connect with head coach Marcus Freeman and offensive coordinator Mike Denbrock.
During the recent Elite 11 camp, Deuce Knight once again reaffirmed his strong inclination and bond with the Fighting Irish. He talked about his commitment to South Bend and the excitement to be able to be a part of the program next year.

"I feel like my commitment is great with Notre Dame. I was just up there for my official visit, and it was really fun. I got to hang out with a lot of commits and coaches. It's really good."
Deuce Knight also went on to highlight the conversations he had with Marcus Freeman and Mike Denbrock during his official visit.
"It's really talking about the offense and the fit. I know my fit, seeing a lot of Coach Denbrock and Jayden Daniels last year," Knight said. "Coach Freeman is telling me the same message- 'Stay true. You know why you picked this place.' I committed to Notre dame for a reason, and that's what he always tells me."
Deuce Knight talks about Ivan Taylor's commitment to Notre Dame
Apart from Knight, Marcus Freeman and his team were also able to successfully lock in 4-star CB Ivan Taylor in December. Deuce Knight spoke highly of Taylor, stating that he's a 'cool' guy and believes that he won't be flipping his commitment from South Bend.
"Getting around him (Ivan Taylor) was cool last weekend. I hadn't been around him since probably junior day in January. It was good getting around Ivan, he's a cool guy. He's got a lot of energy. I think we'll keep him, I don't think he'll end up flipping. That's just me, though."
While Knight waits for his collegiate career to begin, he will be looking forward to see what Notre Dame can do with a revamped offense staff this upcoming season.
