From Joe Burrow to Quinn Ewers, star college quarterbacks did their best to make themselves stand out if not by their throws then by their facial hair and hairstyles. But apart from Burrow and Ewers, there have been other college football QBs who tried and tested various hairstyles and have gone viral for their unconventional looks.

Here's a closer look at three college QBs, along with Joe Burrow, who sported crazy hairstyles.

#1. Joe Burrow

When Burrow played high school football for the Athens Bulldogs, he decided to make a bold move and bleach out all of his hair. With not a single strand of brunette in sight, Burrow surprised many of his fans who were not expecting to see such a huge switch-up.

"Blondes do it better," was the caption Burrow wrote on the Instagram post.

Despite loving his blonde era, he was later back to his brunette roots. A picture on his Instagram feed from 2019 shows him rocking a longer and wavier hairstyle.

#2. Quinn Ewers

In last year's college football season, the Texas Longhorns QB sported blonde locks in a mullet haircut. Fans admired his unconventional hairdo and it became one of his most memorable looks.

But it seems like Ewers was having difficulty maintaining his locks and thus chopped them off for a much more common hairstyle.

#3. Tom Brady

The eight-time Super Bowl champion has had great and crazy hair days. From his time in high school up to his retirement, Tom Brady has had some of the most intriguing haircuts. But there is one that beats all others – and it comes from his high school playing days.

Brady once sported a hairstyle that can't be so easily described. Some thought it looked like a black cat on his head. Others asked if it was a pile of seaweed. As to why Brady went with that look, fans may never truly know.
