While some projected the conference to get multiple teams in the postseason – the Clemson Tigers and Florida State Seminoles were the two most popular picks – the early season results have produced just a 15-5 conference record.

#1. Florida State Seminoles
The Florida State Seminoles entered the season ranked No. 10 in the nation, however, two early season losses have dropped them out of the rankings altogether. They are rated 90 overall in EA Sports College Football 25 with their offense earning an 85 ranking, while their defense checks in at an 88. Furthermore, Florida State has 11 players ranked 85 overall or higher.
#2. Virginia Tech Hokies
The Virginia Tech Hokies were among the highest-rated ACC teams in EA Sports College Football 25 despite finishing 7-6 last season and dropping their season opener. They earned an 87 overall rating, with their offense and defense receiving 83 and 86 ratings, respectively. Virginia Tech has seven players ranked 85 overall or higher.
#3. North Carolina Tar Heels
The North Carolina Tar Heels are the only team listed that was able to win their season opener. They barely squeaked past the Minnesota Golden Gophers with a 19-17 home victory, however, they did not impress. They are rated 85 overall in EA Sports College Football 25 with their offense rated 82, while their defense earned an 84 rating. North Carolina has five players ranked 85 overall or higher.
