Shedeur Sanders started his podcast "2Legendary" with an all-QB episode on Tuesday. He was joined by Virginia Tech's Kyron Drones, Miami's Cam Ward and QB coach, Darrell Colbert Jr., to chat about the best college football stadium experiences.
Drones, who has played at Doak S. Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee, home of the Florida State Seminoles, had a surprising take.
“I felt like that was overhyped,” he said on the podcast. “I feel like it’s going crazy for a night game, but day game was overhyped.” [Timestamp - 21:17]
He contrasted that with Louisville's stadium, which he found impressively loud despite its smaller size.
"Had to be Louisville," Drones added. "It was just loud. The stadium is small. That's why it was so loud."
Cam Ward chimed in about his favorite stadium:
“Probably at USC. That was tough, it went like pack but it was loud,” he said. “Best grass ever played on.”
Shedeur, who has a $4.8 million NIL valuation, according to On3, has a soft spot for Arizona State's Mountain America Stadium.
"I would definitely say I like Arizona State," Buffs QB Shedeur said.
The conversation was lively and gave fans an inside look at how these quarterbacks view different game-day atmospheres across the country.
Shedeur Sanders eyes a Bugatti like GTA with NFL paychecks
During the first episode of the podcast "2Legendary," Shedeur Sanders and his guests, Kyron Drones and Cam Ward, had a chat about what they'd do with their first NFL paychecks.
Rather than the typical "invest wisely" advice, they leaned into some fun and extravagant ideas. Drones joked about splurging on luxury items:
“Just to blow money,” Drones said. “When I get to that aspect need like a jet or something.” (Timestamp - 29:43)
Shedeur Sanders came in with his dream purchases, like a Bugatti.
“A lot of watches for sure,” he said. “A lot of bags. I mean eventually I want to have like a Bugatti one day. I want mine kind of like how it is on GTA bro,” Shedeur added.
