Colorado Buffaloes' quarterback Shedeur Sanders has come forward to clarify what seemed like a criticism of his team's offensive line by teammate Travis Hunter.
Sanders and Hunter were playing the EA Sports' College Football 25 game on Sunday. At one stage, the latter took a playful jab at his team's offensive line.
The two-way star dropped back against the QB of the team in the game. Hunter tried to escape from the pressure but ended up getting saved by Sanders. A fan commented on this:

"The O-line is realistic."
Hunter agreed with the fan's comment.
"Yes, very realistic," Hunter said after reading the fan's comment.
Sanders replied:
"What do you mean?"
"Because they can't block for nothing," Hunter answered.
The conversation gained a lot of attention from fans who were surprised that Hunter was taking a jab at the Coach Prime-led squad. But Shedeur Sanders, who has a NIL Valuation of $4.9 million as per On3 Sports, wrote a statement to clarify the misunderstanding. The QB said:
"Trav was referring to last year's game play."
There were fans who said that they were aware of Hunter's intention while some said that they no longer believe in the Buffs.
"We all knew that ! they wanna run with the simple narratives," a fan wrote.
"We know he was joking they just looking to hate on something," another fan commented.
"Nah we know lil bro, 3 win season coming soon," an X user said.
Shedeur Sanders showed confidence at the Big 12 media days
The Colorado Buffaloes had an unimpressive season last year. It was a great contrast to what the fans were anticipating from the team.
The arrival of Deion Sanders bloomed expectations in the hearts of the fans but their record was 4-8.
Deion, his sons Shilo and Shedeur, and other Buffs players attended the 2024 Big 12 Media Days. Shedeur Sanders talked about the pressure that he and his teammates have to face each day.
"I know we're everybody's Super Bowl."
Although the skills of the team have not been reflected well on the field, one cannot deny that the Buffs became one of the most-watched college football teams last year.
Can they keep up with the same reputation this year all while increasing the wins? Let us know what you think in the comment section.
