Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Carson Beck has struggled at times throughout the 2024 season. Beck is projected to be a first-round pick in the 2025 NFL draft despite throwing 12 interceptions through 10 games.

His production has taken a dip from last season, but NFL scouts are still drawn to Beck. The 6-foot-4 signal-caller is highly touted for his pro-ready physical tools. On Monday afternoon, Jim Nagy, the Executive Director of the Reese's Senior Bowl and a former NFL scout, shared his thoughts on the signal caller.

Nagy highlighted Beck's quick footwork for his size and detailed the Georgia quarterback's height, frame and hand size. He also crowned Beck with the quickest release of any quarterback in the 2025 NFL draft. In his time as an NFL scout, Nagy helped the Seattle Seahawks, New England Patriots (twice) and Green Bay Packers to Super Bowl wins with his contributions.

Through 10 games, Beck has completed 65.1% of his passes for 2,835 yards, 19 touchdowns and 12 interceptions and is still regarded as a lock for the first round despite taking a step back with his production.

Carson Beck bounces back versus Tennessee

Beck led Georgia to a 31-17 win over Tennessee in Week 12, bouncing back after struggling versus Ole Miss in a 28-10 Week 11 loss. Carson Beck was named Reese's Senior Bowl offensive player of the week after completing 25-of-40 passes for 347 yards and two touchdowns, adding 32 yards and a third touchdown on the ground.

After the quarterback's best performance of the season, the Bulldogs are firmly in College Football Playoff contention with an 8-2 record entering a Week 13 matchup versus UMass. In the loss to Ole Miss, Beck completed 21-of-31 passes for 186 yards and an interception, finishing the game without a touchdown. The Bulldogs' offense notched just 186 yards but bounced back in a big way versus Tennessee.

The Georgia Bulldogs enter Week 13 as the No. 10 team in this week's College Football Playoff rankings, looking to carry their momentum into a potential playoff berth.
