Deion Sanders was on the podium when Devin Hester wore the gold jacket and entered the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Friday. The duo shared a special moment as the Colorado Buffaloes coach helped the former Chicago Bears star wear the jacket. The video of the same went viral on social media.

Hester represented the Miami Hurricanes in his college football days. He is known for his kickoff return against the Indianapolis Colts during the Super Bowl XLI in 2007. He became the first player in NFL history to enter Canton, Ohio, as a primary kick returner.

Here is the clip of the special moment between Deion Sanders and the newest entrant into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Devin Hester, during the induction ceremony:

Hester took the field for the Hurricane from 2003 to 2005. His kick-returning skills were evident in his freshman year when he returned a 98-yard touchdown against the Florida Gators. The Bears picked him in the second round of the 2006 NFL draft. His stint in Chicago ran until 2013 and included a Super Bowl appearance in 2007 along with the franchise’s last playoff win in 2011.

Deion Sanders is already a Hall of Famer, with his induction dating back to 2011. Coach Prime, who has an estimated net worth of $45 million per CelebrityNetWorth, is preparing to lead the Buffaloes in the Big 12 in his second year in Boulder. While his first season might not have been as he would have planned, he is certainly optimistic about the new season.

Deion Sanders says he has good 10 years in him to build Colorado

After his debut season in Boulder ended somewhat disastrously, it was speculated that Deion Sanders might be on his way out. But the two-time Super Bowl champion made it clear that he wouldn't be going anywhere. He has set a deadline for his time with the Buffaloes in May.

"I got a good 10 in me. I've got a good 10 strong in me," he said in a video shared by ‘Well Off Media' on YouTube.

Sanders will have a new challenge to navigate the Big 12 in 2024 after the Buffaloes completed their switch from the Pac-12. His team finished last in the conference with a 4-8 record before making the move. Coach Prime has been building his team again, but it remains to be seen if the results can back the preparation.
