Deion Sanders received an adorable gift from a young Colorado Buffaloes fan during a visit to a Children's hospital. Sanders, who has a net worth of $45 million according to Celebrity Net Worth, spent some productive time with the kids.
It was a nice thing for Sanders to do, and during his visit, one Colorado fan gave him a handmade necklace. She beaded together a Buffaloes logo and gifted it to the head coach.
Sanders immediately put it on, thanked the girl for the gift and asked her for a picture because of it.
"Teamed up with @aflacduck and found ourselves another Dawg! Thank you for encouraging me. Never lose hope sweetheart. @j5fleezy she got it on!," Sanders wrote.
It was a thoughtful gift from the girl and Sanders seemed to be very appreciative of it.
Deion Sanders remains unfazed despite the transfer portal exodus
Deion Sanders was the talk of college football last year, as he led the Buffaloes to a 3-0 record to begin the year. The school, however, then went 1–8 down the stretch to finish the year 4–8.
But now, going into the next season, Colorado has lost several key players in the transfer window, but Sanders seems to be confident about his strategies.
"We're good. I trust the recruiting team. I trust our coaches, and please have some faith in me," Sanders said, via ESPN. "We good. We all right. We all right...
"I think we got some [starting-caliber players] coming in from visits pretty soon, maybe even this weekend, but we can attract those type of players," Sanders said. "I don't think we're losing those type of players, and if we do, we're good. We're good. We're making a big deal out of nothing."
Some of the prominent players to leave were Cormani McClain and Alton McCaskill.
Entering 2024, Colorado is returning to the Big 12 and has notable games against Nebraska, Utah, Kansas, and Oklahoma State, among others.
