EA Sports College Football 25 was released on July 19, and since then, it has been played by many college football fans. However, some elements in the game may cause some confusion to its players.

Many of these come in the game settings part of the menu. These settings are what players alter to enhance their gameplay, but before doing this, they should know exactly what they are altering before they start a game.

5 Most Confusing Options in College Football 25

Defensive Ball Hawk

This option is found in the Game Settings menu of the Madden series as well as College Football 25.

The Defensive Ball Hawk settings help defenders automatically move into a position to intercept the ball in the air. By allowing the setting to be activated in the game, the defenders will move by themselves into a position to make an interception.

If the setting is deactivated, the users will have to control these defenders manually, and any attempt to intercept the ball may be less aggressive.

Defensive Heat Seeker

This setting works similarly to the Defensive Ball Hawk. The Defensive Heat Seeker is an aid that can help players tackle the ball carrier.

To reduce frustration when a player is not in the right place to make the tackle, it is advised that this setting is kept on.

Reticle Speed

The Reticle Speed setting is also found in the Game Settings menu. But unlike the first two settings on this list, this one affects the offense, especially the quarterback.

The Reticle is similar to a sensitivity meter in any shooting game, and it needs to be filled up enough to make sure that the pass is strong. However, there is a point where the meter will become too full, and the pass will not be good.

The Reticle Speed controls how quickly this meter fills up. Many people advise that this setting should be set at around seven or eight out of 20.

Defensive Motion Response

This is found in the coaching adjustment menu and relates to the positioning of the player's defense.

If this setting is turned off, the defense will move over to block a member of the offense that has moved to a different position before the snap has taken place.

Option Defense Read Key

This is also found in the coaching adjustments menu. In this setting, the defense will either focus on the quarterback or the running back in Read Option plays.
