Five-star offensive lineman David Sanders Jr. is a key target for the Tennessee Volunteers. His official visit to the school over the weekend could help him decide which program to commit to.

However, an incident from the visit has gone viral. At a dinner hosted by the university, the name on his name card was misspelled as Davis instead of David.

He responded to the mistake on Instagram on Monday:

"They might've spelled my name wrong, but we all know it's a lil (Rocky) to get to the (Top) GBO."

It appears that Sanders has brushed off this incident, and it has made no impact on any potential commitment to the Tennessee Volunteers.

Reflecting on his visit to Rocky Top, Sanders told Sports Illustrated:

“They treated me like a priority like they have been. Even though there were so many guys here I still felt like I was a priority for the program. They did a great job for sure."

Sanders also said that his relationship with UT's offensive line coach is growing.

"Reminds me of my offensive line coach, Coach Goodwin from Providence Day (in Charlotte, North Carolina)," Sanders said. "Just a mild-mannered guy, but very technical. I got to learn more about him over the weekend spending time with him out on the boat, in the car and stuff like that.”

All these factors will play roles in helping David Sanders Jr. to decide on his future college.

Which schools has David Sanders Jr. made official visits to?

It is not just Tennessee where David Sanders has made, or is going to make, an official visit.

Six schools have a realistic chance of bringing Sanders to their campus: South Carolina, Clemson, Georgia, Tennessee, Ohio State and Alabama.

Sanders has already visited four of these schools and will visit Ohio State and Alabama this week.

Whichever school is lucky enough to obtain Sanders could be getting a generational talent.

In a college football landscape focused on powerful offenses, having a strong offensive line is key to protecting the quarterback, who in turn makes the plays needed to drive the team down the field. David Sanders Jr. is expected to be a massive help to any offensive line, and his work will provide enough time for the quarterback to make the play before the defense arrives.

Which program do you think Sanders will commit to?
