Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders signed off in style, putting on a show at Folsom Field when the Buffaloes blew out the Oklahoma State Cowboys 52-0 in Week 14. Shedeur tallied 438 passing yards on 82.9% completion resulting in five touchdowns.
On Monday, he and some of his Buffs teammates, including offensive lineman Jordan Seaton, went out to celebrate his elder brother Deion Sanders Jr.'s 31st birthday.
Sanders Jr. posted a clip from the night with Shedeur and Seaton entering a black and grey Mercedes Maybach. The $6.2 million NIL-valued quarterback (as per On3) said:
“He protects the backside so he had to get the bach."
Shedeur also has an extensive car collection including a Maybach, Dodge Durango Hellcat, Lamborghini Urus and a Tesla Cybertruck.
How teams tried to flip Colorado offensive lineman Jordan Seaton
After Shedeur Sanders was the most sacked quarterback in the FBS last season (52), Colorado coach Deion Sanders pledged to recruit elite offensive linemen. Jordan Seaton was heavily recruited by other programs, although the Buffs won the race for his commitment.
Coming from IMG Academy, Seaton was recruited by the likes of coach Kirby Smart's Georgia Bulldogs and Nick Saban's Alabama Crimson Tide.
During an interview at UA's media days, Seaton named the kinds of pitches that he got after he had committed to Coach Prime's Colorado with programs attempting to flip his commitment.
"This was the most famous one I got," Jordan Seaton said. "It was like, 'What, do you want to be a rapper or something?' I'm like, 'Hey, I get what you're saying,' but ... bro ... There was a lot of negative recruiting (at Coach Prime). I feel like some people don't understand that he's only had ... he's only been there for, what ... Has it been a year yet? It's been a year. The turnaround that program has from 1-11 to 4-8 ... to see that is cool."
Seaton impressed during spring training and was an immediate starter for the Buffs as they put together an impressive 9-3 campaign, and Shedeur Sanders was only sacked 38 times this season.
