The Alabama Crimson Tide had a strong season – albeit a down year by their standards – as they finished the regular season with a 9-3 record, including a 5-3 mark in SEC play. They appeared on their way to a postseason appearance, however, a late-season blowout loss to the Oklahoma Sooners derailed those plans.
With the transfer portal now open, several players have announced their intention to change programs.

#1. Isaiah Horton, Wide Receiver
Isaiah Horton joined the Miami (FL) Hurricanes as a four-star prospect in the 2022 recruiting class. He appeared in 29 games, recording 70 receptions for 790 yards and six touchdowns. Horton announced his decision to enter the transfer portal on Dec. 18 and committed to join the Alabama Crimson Tide on Dec. 21.
#2. Kam Dewberry, Offensive Lineman
Kam Dewberry joined Texas A&M as a four-star prospect in the 2022 recruiting class. He has appeared in 32 games in his collegiate career. Dewberry announced his decision to enter the transfer portal on Dec. 9 and committed to join Alabama on Dec. 21.
#3. Kelby Collins, Defensive Lineman
Kelby Collins joined the Florida Gators as a four-star prospect in the 2023 recruiting class. He appeared in 18 games, recording 29 total tackles, seven of which were solo tackles, 2.0 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, one forced fumble and one pass defended. Collins announced his decision to enter the transfer portal on Dec. 3 and committed to join the Crimson Tide on Dec. 17.
#4. Nikhai Hill-Green, Linebacker
Nikhai Hill-Green initially joined the Michigan Wolverines as a four-star prospect in the 2020 recruiting class. He appeared in 17 games during his tenure with the program, recording 51 total tackles, 35 of which were solo tackles, 2.0 tackles for loss and one pass defended.
Hill-Green joined the Charlotte 49ers via the transfer portal ahead of the 2023 season. He made 11 appearances, recording 73 total tackles, 48 of which were solo tackles, 9.0 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks, one forced fumble and three passes defended.
Hill-Green once again entered the transfer portal ahead of the 2024 season, joining the Colorado Buffaloes. He appeared in 12 games, recording 82 total tackles, 53 of which were solo tackles, 12.0 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks, two interceptions and four passes defended. Hill-Green announced his decision to enter the transfer portal on Dec. 16 and committed to join the Alabama Crimson Tide on Dec. 21.
#5. Cameron Calhoun, Cornerback
Cameron Calhoun initially joined the Michigan Wolverines as a four-star prospect in the 2023 recruiting class. He appeared in just two games with the program and did not record any stats.
Calhoun joined the Utah Utes via the transfer portal ahead of the 2024 season. He appeared in 11 games, recording 21 total tackles, 12 of which were solo tackles, 1.0 tackles for loss, one interception and nine passes defended. Calhoun announced his decision to enter the transfer portal on Dec. 10 and committed to join Alabama on Dec. 18.
