After the unsatisfactory Week 2 win against UCF, Kalen DeBoer's Alabama faced the spotlight to prove themselves in Week 3 as they went head-to-head against Wisconsin in their first road game.

The Crimson Tide team redeemed themselves with a massive 42-10 win, led by quarterback Jalen Milroe's electrifying performance where he completed 12-for-17 passes and threw for 196 yards while scoring five touchdowns.

Another player who shone in Week 3 was the youngest one on the team, Ryan Williams, who scored four interceptions for 78 yards and one touchdown.

While Alabama was successful in showcasing its talent and abilities on Saturday, it wasn't an easy battle. Three of their players - Malachi Moore, Qua Russaw and Richard Young - faced injuries during the game.

During a post-game presser, Kalen DeBoer offered insights on all the injuries:

“Malachi got hit to the head,” DeBoer said. “So I think we’re just going through the, probably the protocol with him. It helps having the bye week here, so I’m thinking he’ll be alright and be fine.
“Russaw, lower leg I know,” DeBoer said. “I don’t know exactly where, but I know it’s lower. We’ll just continue to evaluate with him.
“Richard Young I think same thing,” DeBoer said. “Lower leg. I think actually very similar, below the knee area. So we’ll continue to evaluate those guys. Definitely ood to have a couple weeks here getting ready.”

Nick Saban shares Alabama's biggest concerns in 2024

The former Alabama coach announced his retirement early this year but fans still get to hear his insights and analysis through his new gig with ESPN College GameDay.

During this week's appearance, Saban talked about what according to him are Alabama's biggest red flags this year:

"To me, the biggest issue with Alabama so far has been their ‘big-little."
“I always hated when our offense played ‘big-little.’ You make a lot of big plays, but then you have a lot of negative plays and inefficiency on offense, whether it’s sacks, fumbles, penalties, all the things that put you behind the down and distance so you can’t sustain long drives and keep the ball and control the tempo of the game.”

Kalen DeBoer's team has two weeks before they play again. They have a bye week and don't get on the field until Sept. 28 when they go head-to-head against Kirby Smart's Georgia in Week 4.
