The Alabama Crimson Tide are set to host the South Carolina Gamecocks on Saturday at noon EDT in what should be a key SEC game. Alabama is coming off a stunning 40-35 upset loss to Vanderbilt.
Heading into the game against South Carolina, Alabama coach Kalen DeBoer said he's proud of his team's response.
"I can promise you these guys are going back to work and doing everything they can to be the best they can on Saturday against South Carolina," DeBoer said during his "Hey Coach" radio show. "The mindset's in a good spot. Just -- I'm so proud of the response. That's all you can do."

Ahead of the matchup against South Carolina, Alabama has three players on its injury reserve.

Yhonzae Pierre, EDGE
Alabama edge rusher Yhonzae Pierre will not play on Saturday due to an undisclosed injury.
“Yhonzae will not be with us this weekend, just with his injury,” DeBoer said, via Alabama.com. “... Haven’t addressed that. Actually didn’t have the information until later yesterday afternoon on exactly where that stood, so expecting him to be out for this weekend, but we’ll see after that.”
Pierre has recorded four tackles and two pass defenses this season. He's currently in his freshman season.
Kendrick Law, WR
Alabama Crimson Tide wide receiver Kendrick Law is listed as questionable to play on Saturday against South Carolina. Law sustained a lower-body injury against Georgia.
Law didn't play against Vanderbilt due to the injury. This season, he's recorded two receptions for 41 yards and a touchdown.
Kobe Prentice, WR
The third player on the injury list for Alabama is wide receiver Kobe Prentice. Prentice took a shot to the head against Vanderbilt and is considered questionable for Saturday's game. Prentice has recorded eight receptions for 107 yards and a touchdown.
Alabama is a 21.5-point favorite to defeat South Carolina.
