Alabama's game plan thrown into chaos as Western Kentucky's headset issues ground coaches to silence

The Alabama-Western Kentucky game has experienced some technical issues early on. The Western Kentucky coaches' headsets were not working and could not communicate with the players on the field.

As a result, the Alabama Crimson Tide coaching staff were not allowed to use headsets as well until the issue was resolved. That could be a bit of a tough thing for a team like Alabama, which has a lot of new faces on the roster and a new coach in Kalen DeBoer.

However, early on in the game, there seemed to be no issues as the Crimson Tide recorded two interceptions on defense and secured a multi-touchdown lead.

With the game of college football having used signals for plays before this season's games, this is not going to be as difficult in that aspect. However, it could be an issue if the coaches are unable to communicate with one another.

What should we expect out of the Alabama Crimson Tide this season?

The Alabama Crimson Tide made the College Football Playoff last season after winning the SEC Championship. However, there were a lot of changes in Tuscaloosa that they need to get situated if they want to be successful in a tough SEC landscape with the Oklahoma Sooners and Texas Longhorns joining this season.

The Crimson Tide have some tough games in the second half of the season but nothing too difficult for them outside of the Georgia Bulldogs game at the end of September.

Expect the Crimson Tide to make the 12-team College Football Playoff and even be one of the conference champions that receive a first-round bye and a top-four seeding. They still have a lot of talent with the likes of quarterback Jalen Milroe and safety Keon Sabb, just to name a few players.

With coach Kalen DeBoer only having 13 losses as the main coach of a program throughout his coaching career, it is going to be difficult to imagine them losing multiple games throughout the regular season.
