Unfortunately, CF25 doesn't include any FCS schools. Some enterprising gamers are using the Team Builder option to incorporate some of those schools, but of course, any such alterations are coming only from individual gamers and not from EA.

Suggestions on Picking a School in College Football 25

Of course, everyone loves to pick their favorite team, wear the uniform, fill the shoes of their offensive coordinator, and live that experience. But for new gamers, it's probably better if that favorite team is, say, Alabama or Ohio State than if it is Ball State or Kennesaw State.

Let the level of skill in the game dictate team choice, at least initially. In the alternative, if you really want your dynasty to be, say, Louisiana-Monroe, consider changing the gameplay sliders accordingly. Attempting it on Heisman is probably only slightly harder than actually coaching the Warhawks. So if you're set on a weak team, give them a try on Freshman or Varsity difficulty.
