Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin has listed 26 players on this week’s SEC injury report ahead of their matchup with Georgia, raising questions amid ongoing accusations of injury-faking. Wide receiver Tre Harris, who’s missed consecutive games, is marked as "doubtful" for the upcoming clash.

The long list comes after recent speculation around Ole Miss and alleged fake injuries, per 247 Sports. College football insider Pete Thamel noted in a tweet that this 26-player tally is possibly the largest in SEC injury report history.

Here’s a look at the Ole Miss injury list:

Out: Izaiah Hartrup (WR), Henry Parrish Jr. (RB), Logan Diggs (RB)

Doubtful: Matt Jones (RB), Tre Harris (WR), Jordan Watkins (WR), Jayden Williams (OL), Caleb Warren (OL)

Questionable: Jared Ivey (DE), Yam Banks (S), Cayden Lee (WR), Jadon Canady (S), JJ Pegues (DT), Reece McIntyre (OL), Jeremy James (OL)

Probable: Princely Umanmielen (DE), Walter Nolen (DT), Suntarine Perkins (LB), TJ Dottery (LB), Dae'Quan Wright (TE), Cedrick Beavers (CB), Andy Jaffe (S), Rashad Amos (RB), Micah Pettus (OL), Nate Kalepo (OL), Caden Prieskorn (TE)

In response, Ole Miss released a statement addressing the injury-faking buzz which came after comments from South Carolina coach Shane Beamer.

The statement acknowledged that "feigned injuries" are a point of contention in college football and claimed the program has communicated with the SEC and the National Coordinator for Football Officiating, sharing relevant medical details to address these claims.

Coach Kiffin will reportedly ensure staff and players maintain proper conduct and compliance moving forward.

Lane Kiffin’s thoughts on memo from SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey

The Ole Miss Rebels powered to a 63-31 victory over Arkansas in Fayetteville last week. But after the game, reporters wanted Lane Kiffin’s thoughts on the memo from SEC commissioner Greg Sankey, which warned coaches against instructing players to fake injuries to slow down games.

According to the memo, first and second offenses will result in fines, while a third offense will lead to the head coach being suspended.

However, Lane Kiffin welcomed the change.

"I'm glad," Kiffin said [H/t 247 Sports]. "That sounds weird, coming from me. We're a tempo offense.”
“I've been saying this for years,” he added. “Faking injuries hurts us more than anybody (along with Tennessee) in America. It happens to us more than anybody. Happened last week. Over and over again. It may surprise you, but I was really happy with that. We even released a statement about it."

The Rebels will be back at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium on Saturday, Nov. 9, where Lane Kiffin and company take on the Georgia Bulldogs. Kickoff is at 2:30 p.m. CT.
