Arch Manning's brilliant performance against UTSA on Saturday continues to turn heads across the college football world. The quarterback led Texas to an emphatic 56-7 over the Roadrunners in Austin following Quinn Ewers’ injury in the second quarter of the game.
Manning completed 9 of 12 passes for 223 yards and four touchdowns in the non-conference game on Saturday. His most impressive play in the Week 3 encounter was a 67-yard touchdown run in his second offensive series, showcasing his prowess on the ground.
Just like many others, former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown was highly impressed with Manning's outing against UTSA on Saturday. The host of “CTESPN Podcast” gave a special description of the Longhorns quarterback on social media.

“Cracker of Saturday,” Brown wrote on X while posting Manning's picture.
Steve Sarkisian praises Arch Manning’s performance in the UTSA game
Texas coach Steve Sarkisian was full of praise for Arch Manning following the game in Austin on Saturday. Leading the Longhorns for more than two quarters, it's the quarterback’s longest time on the gridiron at the program so far, and the coach was impressed.
"Arch was really our third guy last year, the bulk of the season, and didn't get a ton of experience,” Sarkisian said. “So when we went into spring ball, we thought, okay, putting the starter, we got to make sure Arch is ready to play. And you never know when that can happen.
“But there's nothing like being playing in front of 105,000 people is not the easiest thing to do. So, I was really proud of Arch and what he was able to do.”
Manning is expected to start the next couple of games for Texas as Ewers recovers from injury. That's a lot of chances for the quarterback to show his ability to the fans.
Paul Finebaum makes a bold claim about Arch Manning
Following his impressive performance on Saturday, Paul Finebaum can't get enough of Manning. He sees the quarterback laying his hands on the most prestigious honor in college football before the end of his career in the landscape.
“Book it. Arch Manning is going to win the Heisman,” Finebaum said. “I am in on that. And by the way, his grandad [Archie Manning] and Peyton probably should have won it, and Arch will.
“Can you imagine? He's replacing a Heisman favorite right now. I don't know if he'll win it this year, but Arch Manning will definitely win the Heisman at Texas.”
The Manning dynasty has a pretty good history with the Heisman Trophy, but none of them has won it so far. Archie Manning was voted third in 1970, Peyton Manning came second in 1997 and Eli Manning was third in 2003. It remains to be seen if Arch Manning will become the first winner in the family.
