For Memorial Day weekend, Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders had a special guest from WWE make a visit. WWE Hall of Fame legend Bill Goldberg and his son Gage Goldberg, a 2024 verbal commit to Coach Prime's team, made their way to Boulder for a visit.

During the visit, Bill Goldberg also got a chance to catch up with Deion Sanders and share a few stories with each other. In a post on Coach Prime's Instagram page, the WWE HOF athlete opened up about how he was connected with wrestling before the start of his WWE career.

"You want me to tell you a quick funny story? My brother had a house with Rick Flair back in the 70s at Minnesota. So I had a tie to wrestling before I was even born", Goldberg said.

Sanders also shared a hilarious story related to the WWE superstar. He talked about how he and his crew would have a wrestling match every Friday. And during the match when it was asked who would pick Goldberg, everyone put their heads down and did not want to play as the WWE superstar.

"What happened every friday night in our locker room?", Coach Prime questioned WR coach Jason Phillips. Phillips replied by stating 'wrestle match' before both he and Deion Sanders both shouted, "Anybody want Goldberg?"

"Then what everybody do?", Deion Sanders questioned once more before both of them enacted how everyone would put their heads down when it came to the WWE HOF. "Nobody want Goldberg", the duo said while bursting out laughing.

Gage Goldberg arrives in Boulder as a part of Colorado's 2024 recruiting class. And as the 6ft 205 lb linebacker prepares for his collegiate journey under the guidance of Coach Prime, his father is appreciative of the fact that Gage will continue to hone his football skills under a dear friend and a great mentor.

"All I can say is that I love him like a brother. And now he's taking care of my boy. There's no defining way that I can describe it, except from the fact that my son is going to school under Deion Sanders, and I couldn't be more appreciative or blessed, because this is one of the best human beings that God ever built", Goldberg said.

It will be interesting to see if Gage Goldberg can go on to build a bright future for himself in the world of professional football.
