Arch Manning has silenced the transfer rumors ahead of Texas' College Football Playoff matchup against the Arizona State Sun Devils. The quarterback, who has been the subject of relentless speculation, made it clear that he’s staying put in Austin.

“I mean, I really have no plans on entering the portal or anything. I don’t really know about it, about all the windows and everything. I’m probably the wrong guy to ask about it too,” Manning said during an interview on Monday, brushing off any chatter about potential moves.

The college football world on X reacted to Manning's interview.

"I’m sure the deal is he starts next season wherever the situation with Quinn is," Another tweeted.
"That’s what you call not being distracted by the portal- ‘I don’t really know about it…’ awesome answer. He’s the man in 2025. Can’t wait," another tweeted.
"Such a cool guy," one fan tweeted.
"There you go America. Arch isn't going in to the portal. "BREAKING NEWS: Arch staying." Finally, you guys can just stop," another tweeted.

The transfer portal, a hot topic across the NCAA, doesn’t seem to distract Manning. His focus remains on development and the future.

Steve Sarkisian unhappy with transfer portal rumors surrounding Arch Manning or Quinn Ewers

Texas HC isn’t thrilled about the transfer portal rumors making the rounds on X regarding his QBs - Quinn Ewers and Arch Manning. The playoffs are here, and the Longhorns coach clarified his frustration during a press conference on Monday.

“I don’t ask any player on our team are you turning pro or not," the Texas coach said. "The best thing they can do for their future is play well in the College Football Playoff.”

The timing of these decisions irks Sarkisian.

“In three weeks, the NFL playoffs are going to begin," Sark said. "Imagine NFL players becoming free agents the day they announce who’s in the playoffs. That’s what’s happening in college football.”

As Ewers and Manning face big decisions regarding their future, Sarkisian focuses on the field.
