Arch Manning's father, Cooper, gave fans a sneak peek into some of the best moments he shared with New Orleans Saints defensive end Cam Jordan on "The Manning Hour." In an Instagram post on Sunday, Cooper said he invited Jordan on his show and gave viewers a trailer of what is expected to be a hilarious episode.
"Best moments from this season’s #ManningHour with special guest, @camjordan94," Cooper captioned the IG post.
After the discovery of a back issue ended his career as a receiver for the Ole Miss Rebels before his freshman season began in the early 1990s, Cooper joined Fox Sports Net as a college football analyst in 2004. Since 2014, he has been the host of "The Manning Hour" on FS1. As per Cooper, Jordan has made the most guest appearances on his show.
The Saints drafted Jordan in the first round of the 2011 NFL draft, and he has been a stalwart for the franchise, earning eight Pro Bowl honors. This season, Jordan played in 17 of New Orleans' regular season games, recording 34 tackles, 4.0 sacks, four stuffs, four passes defended and one interception. The Saints finished third in the NFC South with a 5-12 record.
Cooper Manning's son Arch Manning likely to get starting QB role at Texas next season
While Cooper Manning has been a renowned college football analyst for the past two decades, his son, Arch Manning, is in the spotlight for Texas. The Longhorns are reportedly expected to hand over the starting quarterback reins to Manning for the 2025 season.
It will also be interesting to know Cooper's views and analysis of his son's ability on the gridiron.
There's also a possibility that Arch plays an important role for Texas in its quest for the national championship this season. The Longhorns beat Arizona State 39-31 in double overtime in Wednesday's Peach Bowl to book a spot in the College Football Playoff semifinals. Texas will face Ohio State on Friday.
Arch is currently serving as the backup to Texas' starting quarterback Quinn Ewers. However, any injury to Ewers could bring Arch into the equation.
