Arch Manning played his long-awaited debut as a starting quarterback last night. His Texas Longhorns faced the UL Monroe Warhawks, one of the weaker FBS programs.

Manning's debut has come about due to regular starting quarterback Quinn Ewers leaving last week's game against the UTSA Roadrunners with an abdominal injury in the second quarter.

This meant that Manning played in the game, and his performance impressed many people. This included scoring a 67-yard rushing touchdown.

So, how did Arch Manning fare in a game where he finally played as a starting QB.

How many touchdowns did Arch Manning score?

During the game against the UL Monroe Warhawks, Arch Manning was able to score two touchdowns.

Both of these came in the first quarter. The first score was a three-yard pass to Jaydon Blue, while the second one was a 13-yard touchdown pass to Ryan Wingo.

Unlike the game against the Roadrunners, Arch Manning did not score a rushing touchdown.

The Longhorns team, as a whole, did score five of them, with three coming from Jaydon Blue.

How many yards did Arch Manning throw for?

Arch Manning threw for 258 yards in the win against the Warhawks, going 15 from 29, giving him a pass accuracy percentage of 51%.

This is slightly more than the 223 yards he threw against the Roadrunners. However, in that game, he went 9 from 12 and had an accuracy percentage of 75%.

He was also able to record 53 rushing yards from three attempts in that contest, compared to the -4 yards he made from one attempt in the Warhawks' game.

How many interceptions did Arch Manning throw?

Arch Manning threw for two interceptions in the game, which is something that he did not do against the Roadrunners. It is these two interceptions that is the main difference between the two performances.

The first of these came on the first drive of the game for Manning, which is not the best way for him to start his time as the starting quarterback. The second came near the end of the first quarter and would be more costly than the first, as the following drive from the Warhawks set up a field goal attempt.

Luckily for Texas, this field goal was missed, limiting the Warhawks to only three points in the whole of the game.

In the end, it may not have been the best debut for Arch Manning as a starting quarterback, but he did enough to lead the Texas Longhorns to victory.
