Arkansas senior Taylen Green will compete in 2024 with some of the best quarterbacks in the Southeastern Conference. Green transferred from Boise State in December and is expected to lead the Razorbacks as their potential starting quarterback this upcoming season.
While Green gears up for his SEC debut with Arkansas, he inked a new NIL deal to add to his long list of brand collaborations, including EA Sports College Football 25, following his Fayetteville transition. With around 12K followers on Instagram, the Arkansas quarterback has partnered up with Fletcher Auto Group.
Now, as part of this new deal, Taylen Green will be driving around in a new Ram 1500. On Saturday, he shared a post on Instagram posing with the sleek black pickup truck. In the caption of the post, he wrote:
"I'm loving my Ram pickup truck from Fletcher Auto. If you want a car that you love as much as I love my new truck, head to FletcherAuto.com. You absolutely can't go wrong."
The deal was mediated by the Razorbacks' NIL collective, the Arkansas Edge. With automobile deals becoming more popular for college athletes, this proves to be a good opportunity for Green to continue building his NIL portfolio and take advantage of the new era of college sports.
Taylen Green could light up the SEC with his move to Arkansas
Graduating from Lewisville High School in Texas, the young dual-threat quarterback initially began his collegiate journey with the Boise State Broncos in 2021. As a redshirt freshman, he served as the backup to then-starting QB Hank Bachmeier.
In 2022, he was named as the starter over Bachmeier before the fifth game of the season. He led Boise State to a 10-4 record and a Frisco Bowl victory over North Texas. Taylen Green put up a total of 2,042 passing yards and 14 touchdowns and was named the Mountain West Freshman of the Year.
Last season, Green played a major role in helping the Broncos become the Mountain West champions. He put up 1,572 passing yards and 11 touchdowns, along with 436 rushing yards and nine touchdowns. He was named the Mountain West Conference championship game MVP for his performance against UNLV.
