Arkansas Razorbacks' $160,000,000 football facility has tools Sam Pittman needs to chase National championship this season

The Arkansas Razorbacks have been playing their home games at the Donald W Reynolds Stadium since 1938. The stadium has been a part of the team's history and has undergone several renovations over the years.

The newly renovated stadium has state-of-the-art facilities to help improve the performance of its players. The Smith Football Center is the home of Arkansas players.

It includes everything that a Razorback player needs to sustain as a college footballer and where their daily activities and training take place. The Football Center is equipped with weight rooms and an indoor practice field for its players to train.

They also have a nutrition area that focuses on each player's nutritional requirements individually. A player lounge is also provided for Arkansas players to sit and relax while engaging in recreational activities.

After the $160 million renovation was completed in 2018, the stadium's capacity increased to 72,212. It also included the reconstruction of the North End Zone as well as their Atheltic Center. The playing field has been named the Frank Broyles Field to honor his coaching legacy with the Razorbacks.

Broyles was the coach from 1958 to 1976 and led the program to seven SWC Championships (ceased in 1996) and two Cotton Bowl Classic wins. Now, there are hopes from current coach Sam Pittman to revive the program's legacy, considering the facilities available at his disposal.

Pittman replaced Chad Morris as the program's coach in December 2019. After a 3-7 record in his debut season in 2020, Pittman led the Razorbacks to a 9-4 season a year later, finishing third in the SEC West division. They went on to play Penn State in the Outback Bowl, which they won 24-10.
