Jeff Monken's Army Black Knights will travel to take on the Temple Owls in their backyard on Thursday at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. This will be the 14th time these two have met each other in their history. The Owls lead the all-time series 7-6; however, the Black Knights have won the last two games in this matchup.

Bryson Daily has started all games under center so far for the Black Knights this season. They won all three, winning against Lehigh, Florida Atlantic and Rice.

Will Bryson Daily continue to start for Army in Week 5?

Though it was a short week to rest, Daily isn't carrying any niggles. He is expected to start for the Black Knights on Thursday.

Daily joined the Black Knights in 2022. In his first season, he didn't see much action. The following year, he threw for 913 yards and seven touchdowns with six interceptions on 60-of-120 pass attempts.

Bryson Daily's performance in first 3 games of 2024 season

In Week 1's 42-7 win over Lehigh, Daily threw for just 35 yards on 3-of-6 pass attempts. This is because Daily rushes on most of his snaps and in that game, he ran for 78 yards on 17 carries for two touchdowns.

In his second game, a 24-7 win over Florida Atlantic, Daily ran for 117 yards on 18 carries while throwing for 44 yards and one touchdown.

In last week's 37-14 win over the Rice Owls, Bryson Daily registered his best performance, throwing for 107 yards and two touchdowns on 6 of 9 pass attempts. Meanwhile, he added three rushing scores while running for 145 yards on 23 carries.

"What we want to do is be a good team and everybody do their job to help this team be the best that it can, and right now Bryson Daily is playing, as an individual, in a way that's helping our team be better, and that's what's important," Monken said ahead of Thursday's game via ASAPSports.com.
"He's the quarterback. He's a captain. He's handling the ball a lot. He's running the ball a lot. It's his responsibility to take good care of the fall and it's his responsibility to lead the offense and lead the team, and he's doing a good job of that," he added.

Monken will expect Bryson Daily to help land another victory for the Black Knights and stay undefeated this season.
