Deion Sanders always knows how to steal the spotlight, and his appearance at the 2024 Big 12 Media Days was no exception. The Colorado Buffaloes coach rocked sunglasses indoors, and fans couldn't stop talking about his unique style on social media.

"Ask him if he's had his eyes dilated since he's wearing sunglasses inside," one fan tweeted on X, formerly Twitter.
"Cocaine habits are hard to kick lol. Gotta keep the eyes hidden," another fan tweeted.
"Has anyone asked him why he's wearing them?" A fan tweeted.

However, many fans defended Sanders.

"Now tell about how he took them off about a minute and half in...or that doesn't fit the narrative," One fan tweeted.
"He is selling a brand. We already saw a 1-11 team win 4 games. If he takes the Buffs to a bowl game, there will be a lot of people that will need to eat crow," Another fan tweeted.
"most fashionable coach ever," a fan tweeted.

Sanders was among the most anticipated coaches at the Las Vegas Allegiant Stadium on the second day of Big 12 Media Days.

Deion Sanders believes his standard to be different

Constant scrutiny has been a part of Deion Sanders' life since he took the head coach position at the Colorado Buffaloes. However, the Hall of Famer believes he doesn’t get due credit for his work. Speaking at the Big 12 Media Days on Wednesday, Sanders said:

"I'm judged on a different scale. My wins are totally different than your wins."

His viewpoint highlights the unique challenges he faces as a high-profile figure in college football. Colorado is set to rejoin the Big 12 after spending over a decade in the Pac-12. Despite the transition, Sanders remains confident. When asked about his approach to doing things differently in the Big 12, he boldly declared:

"Why would we be trying to fit into anything? I ain't never tried to fit into nothing ... We don't fit in, man. We fit out."

This season will be a test for Sanders, now in his second year with Colorado. Last season, the Buffaloes saw a promising start with a 3-0 record but stumbled to finish 4-8.
