Shedeur Sanders is set to enter the 2025 NFL draft on the back of a great season with Colorado. The quarterback has been linked with the Tennessee Titans after some fans uniquely urged the franchise to pick Sanders during Sunday's defeat against the Houston Texans.
Amid the hype, former New York Jets scout Daniel Kelly responded to a video on X on Tuesday that showed Titans fans campaigning for the CU star.
"There’s an old saying…Be careful what you wish for…Take it from the guy who had a 100% bust rate on Will Levis —and a 7th Round Grade on him before the Titans selected him in the 2023 NFL Draft," Kelly tweeted.
During Sunday's Week 18 game between the Titans and Texans at Nissan Stadium, a section of Tennessee fans protested the team's struggles by wearing brown paper bags over their heads. Some also had Sanders' cutout taped to the front of their bag.
The Titans have the No. 1 pick in this year's draft after they finished with a 3-14 record. Tennessee needs to make the appropriate picks this year if the team is serious about a rebuild.
