After the No. 6 Ohio State Buckeyes lost 13–10 to Michigan on Saturday, Buckeyes Nation has had a dark cloud over it. Fans are upset at the result and what it means for their season and coach Ryan Day. Many fans are ready for Day to be fired, and rumors have started to pop up about who could be his replacement if the Buckeyes decide to fire him.

One is that commentator Urban Meyer could return to coach Ohio State. He was the Buckeyes coach from 2012 to 2018, winning three conference championships and one national championship.

Fans are split on whether bringing Urban Meyers back is a good idea. A significant portion wants to see him return.

"I don't care what anyone says ... I hated losing him and I would take him back in a New York second," one fan tweeted.
"I'm not excited about Urban nor would he be my first choice, but if it's between Day and Urban ... I'm going Urban," one fan tweeted.

However, many defended Day.

"Damn shame what 4 losses does to a fan base. Not sure how Ann Arbor is still standing after all the losses we gave them in a row. Couldn’t imagine losing 17 of 19. Hell, this losing streak has me f*cked up I’m p*ssed but not bring Urban back p*ssed!" One tweeted.
"Over half the people that want Urban back are the same ones that wanted him gone a few years ago," one fan tweeted.

Ryan Day and the Buckeyes must wait to find out their first-round matchup

The Buckeyes will not be playing in the Big 10 Championship Game. However, they will play in the College Football Playoff. They will not find out who they will play in the first round until after championship weekend. Based on the Week 14 rankings, they are the No. 10 seed. However, the rankings will be updated again after championship weekend.

If the College Football Playoff started today and all of the championship game favorites won, Ohio State would face the Georgia Bulldogs in the first round. However, a lot could change before the final rankings are released. The Bulldogs play in the SEC Championship Game, so they will not play in the first round if they win. It is all speculation until the results of championship weekend are known.
