Nick Saban has joined the College GameDay crew as a panelist this season. Along with Pat McAfee, Kirk Herbstreit, Lee Corso and others, the former Alabama Crimson Tide coach has embraced his new role in broadcasting.

Saban also showed off his acting skills in Home Depot's new commercial for College GameDay. In the advertisement, he's seen painting a bus while other members deliver witty dialogues. The final design features the crew, including Herbstreit's beloved Golden Retriever, Ben, who passed away on Nov. 7 after battling leukemia.

The homage to the pup was heartfelt and comments in memory of Ben came flooding in:

"Yay !!! Ben's on the bus next to hims Dad !!! 🥰❤️ . #WeMissBen," a fan commented.
"Ben continues to leave pawprints on ppls hearts ♥️," a fan said.
"Ben will live forever!! Also, never would have imagined Nick Saban having a self-deprecating sense of humor 😂," another fan commented.

The barrage of love for Saban continued as well, with many fans in awe of the commercial:

"Is there NOTHING Coach can't do? I mean his Vrbo hosting skills alone are an 11/10. A true rennaisance man!" A fan chimed in.
"Had no idea Bama had such an accomplished art program," another fan said.
"Best thing you'll see all week," a fan commented.

Rece Davis praises Nick Saban's achievements at LSU

Before becoming an Alabama legend, Saban had a successful tenure with the LSU Tigers. He spent five seasons there (2000-04), leading the team to a national championship in 2003. During College GameDay in Baton Rouge in Week 11, Rece Davis highlighted Saban's contribution to LSU:

"Of the multitude of things that make him the greatest coach in the history of college football, there's obviously the championships. He's at the top of the list because nobody has won more. But, and I don't mean this disparagingly, he fixed this place (LSU).
"I grew up in the south. LSU, never consistent. Could never sustain. 50 years, it was a coaching graveyard, and he fixed it." (Time stamp: 0:50)

Nick Saban is the fifth-most successful coach in LSU history. Apart from returning to Baton Rouge as an analyst, he had the opportunity to tour the modern football operations center, which he helped brainstorm during his tenure with the Tigers.
