College Football 25 was released on Friday, giving fans a chance to play a game that was 11 years in the making.
A popular game mode in College Football 25 is the Dynasty Mode, where players create a coach to take control of a college football program. They try to build a dynasty with the team, and a common challenge is to turn a small program into a national champion.
But before any game is played, users need to create their coach. Like with the positions in Road To Glory Mode, there are distinct archetypes that the coach can have.
What are the three main coaching archetypes in College Football 25?
The three main coaching archetypes available to players when they begin their Dynasty Mode are:
- Motivator
- Tactician
- Recruiter
Players can assign points to all three areas. However, depending on where they are with the program, they should focus on a specific archetype to begin with.
Each of these archetypes brings a distinct advantage for a certain skill.
For the Motivator archetype, coaches will earn more in-season player XP points and have a better Injury Boost Reward.
This archetype is best used if the program the player has selected already has many skilled players on the roster.
For the Tactician archetype, coaches will receive boosts to the players' gameday ratings.
For the Recruiter archetype, coaches will earn more hours to recruit players, be able to scout players quickly and put more boosts into player visits.
This archetype is perfect for programs that do not have a strong set of players and if used correctly can be the first step toward creating a dynasty.
