What are the biggest storylines for the Big Ten?
The four-team expansion is the biggest storyline in the Big Ten ahead of the 2024 season. Oregon, USC, UCLA, and Washington joined the conference, and each team entered with unique expectations. It'll be interesting to see how the programs adjust to life in the Big Ten and compete for conference supremacy.
Also, the Big Ten will start life without Jim Harbaugh as the former Michigan Wolverines head coach returned to the NFL to coach another of his former teams, the Los Angeles Chargers. Coach Harbaugh was arguably the conference's best coach, and the Wolverines hope that Sherrone Moore can fill in some large shoes.
Last but not least, it will be interesting to see how Lincoln Riley adapts to the Big Ten conference. The USC coach overhauled his defensive coaching staff ahead of the conference change. Let's see whether Riley and the Trojans sink or swim in 2024.
